1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the ToolSpring website at toolspring.co (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

You must be at least 16 years of age to use this Service. By using the Service, you represent that you are at least 16 years old.

2. Description of Service

ToolSpring provides free, browser-based video processing tools. All file processing is performed entirely on your device using WebAssembly technology (ffmpeg.wasm). Your files are never uploaded to our servers or any third-party service.

The Service is provided free of charge and may be modified, updated, or discontinued at any time without prior notice.

3. No Warranties / "As Is" Disclaimer

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. We specifically disclaim all implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that:

  • The Service will meet your specific requirements
  • The Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
  • The results of file processing will be accurate or reliable
  • The quality of any output files will meet your expectations

You use the Service at your own risk. You are solely responsible for maintaining backup copies of any files you process using our tools.

4. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ToolSpring and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption, arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the Service.

In no event shall our total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising from or related to the Service exceed the amount you paid to use the Service (which is zero, as the Service is free).

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 Your Content

You retain full ownership of all files you process using our tools. Since all processing occurs locally in your browser, we never access, store, or claim any rights to your content.

5.2 Our Content

The ToolSpring website, including its design, branding, logos, text content, and underlying code, is owned by ToolSpring and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our content without our prior written permission.

5.3 Open-Source Components

ToolSpring uses open-source libraries (including ffmpeg.wasm) that are subject to their own license terms. See our Licenses page for details.

6. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Process, distribute, or create content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations, including intellectual property laws
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service, except where permitted by applicable law
  • Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access or interact with the Service
  • Attempt to interfere with, compromise, or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
  • Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity

7. Termination & Modification

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof) at any time, with or without notice, and without liability to you. We may also restrict or terminate access to the Service for any user who violates these Terms.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

9. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in the State of Israel. You consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts and waive any objection to the venue of such proceedings.

11. Age Restriction

The Service is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 16. If you are under 16 years old, you may not use the Service. If we become aware that we have collected data from a user under 16, we will take steps to delete such data promptly.

12. Modifications to Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Changes will be effective when posted, with the "Last Updated" date revised accordingly. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be deemed severed from these Terms, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
