Accessibility Statement
Last updated: April 2, 2026
1. Our Commitment
ToolSpring is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply relevant accessibility standards across our browser-based video tools.
2. Conformance Status
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. WCAG defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. Conformance with these guidelines helps make the web more accessible to users who rely on assistive technologies.
3. Known Limitations
Despite our efforts, some areas of our site currently have known limitations:
- Video preview player: The native browser video player used to preview compressed output may have limited or inconsistent screen reader support depending on the browser and operating system.
- In-browser video processing: Client-side video processing powered by ffmpeg.wasm may not announce all processing state changes to assistive technology. Progress is conveyed visually and as a percentage; we are working to improve programmatic announcements.
We are actively working to address these limitations. If you encounter a barrier not listed here, please let us know using the contact details in Section 4.
4. Feedback and Contact
We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of ToolSpring. If you experience barriers while using our site or have suggestions for improvement, please contact our accessibility team:
- Email: accessibility@toolspring.co
Please include a description of the accessibility barrier you encountered, the web page URL, and the assistive technology you were using (if applicable). We will respond within 5 business days.
5. Response Commitment
We will respond to accessibility feedback within 5 business days. We aim to resolve reported issues as quickly as possible and will keep you informed of our progress.
6. Enforcement and Escalation
If you are not satisfied with our response, the following enforcement options are available:
- United States: You may file a complaint with the U.S. Department of Justice under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) via ADA.gov.
- European Union: EU residents may contact their national Data Protection Authority (DPA) or national accessibility enforcement body in accordance with the European Accessibility Act (EAA / Directive 2019/882).
7. Assessment Approach
ToolSpring assesses the accessibility of our website through the following approaches:
- Self-evaluation using automated and manual testing tools
- Review against WCAG 2.1 Level AA success criteria
